Family and Friends,

Meet Melida!

We had the privilege to help her get baptized this week! She lives in one of the mountains, well really it's more of a really big hill (to not make it sound so bad) and lives in the last house there. From our house it's about an hour, but it was totally worth the sacrifice and all the sand that ended up in our shoes to hike up to where she lives. She was soooo prepared to receive the gospel in her life. The other day we taught her the plan of salvation and when we explained all the parts to the plan, that our Savior is the center of it all, her face just lit up. I love doing my job, helping others to come unto Christ, with their first covenant that they make with our Father in Heaven. It really is the best.

I hope you all had a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Family and Friends,
Sorry if my letter sounded depressing last week, I really didn´t have any news from last week. This week was a good week here in the field. I don´t know if you remember about the family that we found, Wendy and Victor that are expecting their first baby. (However, she can´t leave the house because her pregnancy is super risky). Well we had a super great lesson with them on Tuesday, they both want to be baptized, go to Church with their little family, and then in 8 years baptize their baby that hasn´t been born yet. Seriously two great people we have the opportunity to teach. With time I know that Hermana Wendy is going to get better and they both are going to be baptized. I love doing the Lord´s work and finding families to teach!

I hope you all have a great week! Support your local missionaries and give them references!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Family and Friends,

We found a family. It´s a couple, Wendy and Victor, who are already married (which is unheard of in PerĂº) and expecting a baby. Good news, right? Well the not so good news is that she´s has bed rest until the baby is born in May... Which for us that means that she can´t go to church and progress towards baptism. It´s a hurdle that we have but we have faith that she´s going to be well enough to leave her house and go to church and soon. Really, because every time we visit her she looks better and better. We´re super grateful that we found this family that´s just starting because really our goal is to always find families so that as time goes on they can be sealed as a family in the temple. Basically goal in missionary work=find families. So that´s what we´re going to keep on doing, find families.

Have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON
