Familia y Amigos,

This week was transfer week and I had a transfer! My new companion is Hermana Odar

She´s from here in PerĂº, from the north, a place called Chiclayo. She has almost the same amount of time in the mission as I do, just a little less and we´ve been called as Lead Trainers. We have yet to find out what this calling encompasses because President Douglas is just putting it into practice this transfer for the first time. I´ll let you know when I find out more, because I´ve heard about a million descriptions so we´ll see. I think it´s just a fancy way of saying that we´re the Hermanas that are going to do interchanges, working with the other hermanas of the mission...But I´m not sure yet.

We´re in an area called Chorrillos (pronounced Chor-ee-yos), here in Lima. It´s right next to the ocean so it´s super cold here. Everyday there is fog all around in the morning, it tends to lighten up in the afternoon, but it´s always cloudy here...In the evening it´s cold as well. It´s going to be hard to get used to the cold, but I´ve got to because the winter is coming.

Well that´s all the news from the south end of the world. All is well and we´re ready to do work here in Chorrillos! Have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Family and Friends,

I hope everyone had a great Mother´s Day. I know I did because I got to talk to my Mom and that was great! Well this week was a little different than the rest of the weeks, after the passing of two weeks my companion got sick and on Thursday she had to have a minor surgery. So all week we didn´t get a chance to really do missionary work. But I got the chance to take care of my companion and make sure everything with the surgery before and after ran smoothly. My companion is doing a lot better and right now it´s in question whether or not she´ll recooperate here in the mission or go home for a bit. But all is well and I´m just going with the flow. As Elder Wirthlin said, ¨Come what may and love it.¨ Next week I´ll have more details as to what´s up, but until then know that everything is going good. Needless to say, I´ve learned a lot about patience and charity. And since Christlike Attributes always go hand in hand just wanted to share the scripture that we find in Moroni 7:45, and I only have my Spanish scriptures with me so I invite you to go and read this when you get a chance. No other news here in the field.

Hope you all have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Family and Friends,

Good week this week. We're doing work and I love it because that's what I'm supposed to be doing. Plus it's a great day today because I had time to make some pancakes! I found a Betty Crocker, "just add water" mix here in Monterrico so I bought it and every now and then I like to make some pancakes. Almost as good as being in America. This week the weather has been changing, fall is coming and it's getting cooler. Personally I'm not too excited, because I love the sun and here in Lima the sun never comes out in the winter. So every time the sun's out I soak it in. Well nothing else too exciting is happening here in the field. Everyday I'm learning new things and I love it! Hope you all have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON
