Familia y Amigos,

Hope everyone had a great week this week. Last Monday we went to the zoo and there were alpacas walking around so my companion and I took picture with them. Enjoy.

Last night they transmitted a training about missionary work for all the leaders that they did there in Provo. It was a great presentation and training about Missionary Work. Missionary work is truly taking a turn in this last year and as Elder Nelson told us in conference, I too invite you all to "catch the wave".

This week we will be receiving 16 new Hermanas Misioneras. Well I don't know what will be in store for me this transfer but there are only 12 Hermanas here in the mission....If you do the math that means there will be a couple of trios...I'm truly grateful to be a part of the work of the Lord here in the field. I love it.

Have a great week and support your local missionaries by giving them references!

Dear Family and Friends,

This week was a great week. On Tuesday we received a call that President Douglas was going to work with us from 5 pm until the end of the day. Needless to say, we scrambled to have set appointments so that we could wisely use our time with the President. It was a great experience, not as nerve wracking as I thought because he totally acted like a missionary ready to teach and invite people to be baptized. I learned a ton from the President in just a short 4 hours. Other than that, the week was pretty uneventful. Hope all the Dads out there had a great Father´s Day yesterday!  Have a great week and stay safe!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Mis Queridos Familiares y Amigos,

Good week this week here in the field because we had a baptism here in the ward!

El Hermano Jhon. He works in the other side of Lima and his friend talked with him about the Church and he did some research and sent a letter that he wanted to hear the missionaries. Hermana Odar, my companion, and her companion before had the opportunity to have the first few lessons and when I got here we finished teaching him and preparing him for baptism. He was seriously so prepared to have the gospel in his life and it was such a privilege to be part of the process.

Well I found out what my job is as Lead Trainer, we have to do exchanges with the other Hermanas here in Lima. Well this week we did the first one with one of the companionships here in our zone. It was a great experience. I got to go to the other area and work with Hermana Cahuas.

Well turns out part of her area is super touristy and they have a Burrito Bar there that sells burritos just like Chipotle and oh let´s just it was so delicious. Needless to say it was a great exchange haha. Besides the great food we had great lessons and I had the opportunity to teach her a few things and we both learned together.

I´m excited to finally be able to do my part with my new calling and I´ll let you all know how the other changes go.

Have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON

Family and Friends,

Good week this week here in PerĂº. We had the chance to have a conference with a member of a 70s Quorum, Elder Torres. He´s from Venezula and came to do a tour of our mission with his wife to see how everything was. As leaders, we got to meet with him first and he taught us some new things on how to be a better leader and that was great. Then we had the conference with all the missionaries from here in Lima that are part of our mission. We did a few practices, President and Hermana Douglas taught us and all in all it was a great conference. I still have yet to find out what my title as Lead Trainer includes, but I think tomorrow we´re going to get more info...I hope.

Last Monday we went to a museum about the electricity here in PerĂº. It was a fun culture time with interactive things. Here´s a picture of me on the electric bike that was there.

It was a fun time for our P Day.

Hope you all have a great week!

Love Always,

HERMANA HARBISON
